If you already have HID's, which you do, then you only need the bulbs since you have a ballast and ignitor. If you have halogen bulbs then you need the whole HID kit.

I won't be stocking these. I will only order these if you place the order. So if you want this set send payment. I have a couple kits on the order already so the wait won't be long.

The higher you go on the Kelvin scale, above 5300k if I remember correctly, the lower the lumens.

The higher the Kelvin the more color but less lumen. So after 6000K there is more color (Kelvin) but less light output (lumen). So your best bet would be 6000K bulbs. However, most guys who upgrade their HID bulbs are looking for more color. If it were me I would do 6000K. If you want a purplish tint go with 6500K and if you want deep blue go with 8500K.

I would be interested in an HID conversion kit for my headlights and foglights, it would be for a Ford, are they compatible, as long as I give you the light sizes?

As long as you give me the correct bulb types you can covert any halogen into a HID setup.

Stupid question but please answer....I have a '05 TL and am interested in getting either the 6000k or 6500k replacement bulb for my low beams. Would this affect my high beams in any way?? And once I buy these replacement bulbs, all I would need to do is pull out my old bulbs and plug in the new ones?

One more thing. I also want to upgrade the dull fog lights in the TLs. Those are halogen bulbs, right? So I would need to buy a full kit to upgrade those?

The replacement of your low beam bulbs will not affect your high beams. It is plug and play. If you want to upgrade your HID's you need to get a HID kit. The stock low beams are already equipped with a ballast, ignitor and bulb so all you need to do is replace the bulb. The halogen system only has the bulb so you need to buy the entire HID conversion kit which is $305 shipped.

D2C are newer universal bulbs. they will fit your TL no problem.

Yet another stupid question (sorry). If I purchase the 6000k light bulbs for my '05 TL, will they be bright enough? It seems like people buy these only for fog lights and not for the main headlights. Why is that?

Yes they will be slightly brighter than your stock HID's. There are two different products being sold here: HID upgrade bulbs and HID kits. The upgrade bulbs which change the color of your stock bulb and the HID kits will change the color of your stock bulbs, convert the headlights to a High Intensity Discharge bulb system, and will be brighter and last longer than stock halogen bulbs.

So these Kaixen bulbs will plug directly into the stock factory assembly? I have an '03 CL-S 6spd. My lights are blueish when first turning them on then look more white with a hint of blue after they warm up. I'd like to get more light but want to keep some sort of color to it. What degree is the stock HID bulb for an '03 CLS?

Will the 6500k stay purple the whole time? Or is it like the stock bulbs which when turned on, are blue and then turn white?

Yeah this is what I am trying to find out, looks like the Kaixen does not have kit that takes power directly from the battery thus is not safe for the oem wires, you can make a kit yourself but its lot of hassle.
