Lol, maybe driving down to socal would be faster than getting it shipped to you! They're just hanging out somewhere waiting to be shipped... just go and pick those bad boys up!

I actually have no idea how this whole thing is organized anymore. I always thought it's Heeltoe taking our orders, send info to ATLP, then ATLP sends to manufacturing, then manufacturing sends to ATLP, ATLP then ships.

The fact that they don't ship all at once is baffling, which makes me think it;'s really one guy taking the boxes and sending it to fedex, ups, etc. And that all the boxes just don't fit in his TL at once. Now I am making things up.

You actually have the order correct there...except in between manufacturing and shipping we are the ones making the shipping labels.

The exhausts don't all ship at once most likely because they were not all done at once. These HOT OFF THE PRESSES. The tips came in and I can imagine they got the tipes welded on one at a time and they are shipping as parts are completed and packed. The amount of work involved in packing these is pretty intensive.

You are right. There is one guy handling logistics here: Mike from ATLP. And no he does not have a large truck to transport 10 huge boxes in. In my delivery van we can only fit 3 at best at once. There is one guy working for ATLP, and one guy working for the manufacturer of the exhausts...hell there are only two guys running HEELTOE! We are doing the best we can here guys. Small business, low production, low labor count...sometimes conspires into delays.

But things will get better for everyone soon, I promise.

Well it didn't happen Wednesday or yesterday, which was the original message left to me by ATLP. So I am assuming it would start next week.. or hopefully by end of day today.

I emailed ATLP and he said he has left a message with the manufacturer for update. I guess since they only got 2 people, we can expect some delays.

I am sure they are trying to crank these out as fast as possible. I appreciate their efforts and all. But in the future before the group buy starts, it would be good to put in a disclaimer about long wait times. Ya waiting sucks. XMas is coming up and people got plans.

Ah, understood.

I do know Mike is the only guy at ATLP and I raise my hat to him for all his efforts, and also at HeelToe for the prompt responses and making my transaction smooth. Hopefullyyyy they'll be shipped soon and that's all I can hope for.

I might just take this weekend to take off the stock exhaust to get a head start on the installation haha

P1zzaman, I hear your message loud and clear. We'll try to get things in order much better in the future. With things like this it can be tough. It is also a reason why the systems are in such high demand. Anyway, we are always looking for ways to improve and I think this process can become MUCH better.

Sorry for the typos, I was on my iPhone. My question was wondering if more quads were shipped out last week, just that mine have no been shipped out yet. Are they being shipped out in batches or one by one?

Yay! Rob finally got his! Btw... Can you check to see if the tips are straight once you've got them installed? I noticed that the shorter tip on the driver side muffler is kinda saggy looking compared to the passenger side.

I reaD someone else had same issue. They said to just hold it up higher while tightening the screws

There is adjustment in the flanges! Make sure you guys are tightening the whole system only hand tight before using a wrench, and move from the front to the back. The whole system needs to be adjusted before using a tool and must be tightened evenly.

Thanks for the info! However... I had mechanics help me with the install and I'm pretty sure we pushed everything up properly and stuff. I don't think they wouldve overlooked anything. I looked at the actual muffler closely and it looks like the shorter tip on the driver side is welded on lower and more to the outer edge of the muffler. I compared it to the passenger side and also where the tips are in relation to the bumper's exhaust ports. The longer tip on the driver side is where it should be when compared to the passenger side. If I were to push it up so that the shorter tip matches the passenger side, the longer tip will then be too high. Idk if this makes sense... Haha. It's not a big deal. You can only really see the difference if you stare at it for a while.

Idk if this makes me look dumb... But I couldn't figure out what that little metal bracket thing was for. The one that had a little peg sticking out of a flat piece with a hole in it. Anyone?

Yup lots of drone around the 2.5k mark. Blame it on the autotragic trans lol.

Btw I figured out what that metal bracket is for. It's a hanger for the jpipe, but I didn't use it. Was I supposed to? Lol... Everything hooked up nicely without it. Even the mechanics said they couldn't find where it was supposed to go.

The resonator does help with the droning sound you get on autos for sure. It can be welded in after the fact if it gets annoying.

I installed the Magnaflow 22" right after the 3rd cat. But no result. I have OEM 3rd cat though.

I think i can still hear "WRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr....." in my ear drums as I type this, and I last drove 3 hours ago!

hahaha that made me laugh

I just installed it this morning at a local shop. I was going to install it myself, but after two unsuccessful tries, I gave up.

The fitment is perfect. We actually started from the back to the middle of the car and saw no sagging at all.

However, there was no gasket for where the exhaust meets the 3rd cat. But that'll be taken care of as the RV6 V3 J-pipe I purchased had come with one.

The mechanic didn't feel comfortable installing the V3 J-pipe because it removed the 3rd cat. I'll just have to get it done at my friends shop that's about 45 mins away...

As for the exhaust, oh man oh man do I love the exhaust note. The drone wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (drove it locally and on the highway for about an hour). I actually enjoy the sound. But I guess I'll see how I feel about that when I install the J-pipe.

What made me really smile was, as I drove into the parking garage of my work, the exhaust note just echoed all throughout the garage. Something the stock exhaust didn't produce.

So far so gooooood!

P1zzaguy, the j-pipe is not likely the culprit here. The difference between one person saying the tone is nice and the drone is not bad with no resonator, and another saying that even with a resonator they can hear it 3 hrs later in their head and their ears bleed is a a matter of subjective opinion.

Incidently, the Magnaflow one I am sure helped a little but might not have been sided or designed right for this application. Resonators, to be most effective, usually have a slightly smaller core diameter than the rest of the piping. This increases the pressure within the resonator making the packing material more effective, while not reducing flow.
