There is a thread out there, do a search for type-s aspec base bumper

No, you will have to do cutting if you want to use the base bumper. Basically you need to cut a wider exhaust port to fit the type-s aspec, also if you don't want your base bumper to show through them you will have to cut off the entire section of your lower bumper.

so who added on the optional resonator?
i didn't think i would need one, so i didn't get it when i did the buy in... but now i'm starting to think if i made a mistake??? i know it won't sound ricey... i spoke to marcus at heeltoe and he confirmed it - resonator or no resonator, the system will sound good. i'm just concerned that there will be a lot of rasp. i purchased a hi-flow cat instead of the test pipe so i think that should cut down on the rasp... but not 100% sure.
the setup i purchased is j-pipe, hi-flow cat, and the quads. what do you guys think? do you think it'll be raspy with this setup? i know many people get tons of rasp with straight piping and precat deletes. can someone please elaborate on what a precat delete is for me... sorry for being such a noob. my knowledge of exhaust systems is kinda limited.
thanks, guys!
