Unless you've been under a rock with your 1G TSX parked on top of it, you already know that the Metal Cat made by Fastline Performance (a subsidiary of di Sabella Industries, Inc.) has been test fit and works well on the butt dyno. There will also be alternative items for sale with the same great TIG welded quality and fitment.

In total you will have 3 items to choose from:

A Metal Core Spun converter pipe, 200 cells per inch with a 2.25" piping.
$335

An Open Track Test Pipe, otherwise known as a Test Pipe featuring 2.25" piping and no restriction whatsoever.
$160

And a new innovation for the TSX, a Resonated Track Test Pipe which has 99% of the flow from the Open Track Test Pipe with the benefit of resonator to help keep noise down versus an Open Track Test Pipe.

* All three options are 100% full stainless steel construction.
* All three options come with an integrated CEL eliminator -- NO DEFOULER REQUIRED.
* All three come with high end expensive machined flanges that don't require a gasket.
* All three come with 18-8 stainless hardware, metric thread and 17mm head size. 6 bolts, 12 flat washers, 6 spring lock washers, and 6 nuts 17mm.

anyways, Resonated Track Test Pipe dyno? just got the custom aluminum exhaust and am searching for ways to extract every ounce of n/a power without having to shell out for the kpro.

also, i've never heard a resonated test pipe before ... i assume similar in sound to the cat?

Hold the phone....ALUMINUM exhaust????

I don't have dynos yet, but tsxtacy is testing the cat now. He is seeing noticeable gains with a stock header and stock exhaust.

yes aluminum exhaust made by john at lht performance in st.pete/tampa, fl. he's been testing them for over 3 years now on various high hp turbo applications. i've got 2.5" piping with magnaflow stainless steel mufflers. i'll post pics in the tsx forum once john hosts them.

my custom longtube aluminum headers and cat will go on in 2 weeks!!! pm me if you want to get a hold of him because i'm sure once i dyno and put up sound clips they are going to sell like hotcakes

In resonse of the new laws being stricter in CA we are not claiming any legality whatsoever with any of these products.

And we are adding provisions for OEM Heat Shield mounting on all cat pipes.
