I was wondering if there's a TL club in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area of NC. If not, is anyone interested in starting one.

 

Although its not a club, there are quite a few TL owners in NC. Most post in the Charlotte thread. Check it out and welcome!

There is no real "club", but there is a few of us that live in and around the triangle. We get together every few weeks and go grab a beer or wings. Just keep a check on the Southeast region. I usually try to post a thread if we plan a big meet, otherwise I'll just send you a message if we throw something together.

 

Im also interested the next time you guys meet up...

I am definitely interested in hearing/reading about what's happening in Charlotte, but I'm more interested in attending events in the Triangle. There seem to be quite a few TL owners in the area. So I look forward to learning more and getting together.

 

I'm down for wings or whatever when it warms back up. I'm finally turning 21 in March so I'll be able to have a beer like the big boys do

teh cold outside today is unusual. We'll see how things play out. Just because we have a meet, doesn't mean we have to stand outside the whole time.

^The more the merrier! I've got no complaints with that. Usually it's only 4 cars when we get wings anyway. It would be nice to have a few more.

you ever go up to capital blvd in raleigh? Dunno if people still meet up out here since cops have gotten so bad. I use to take my gsxr out there sometimes and cops usually left the motorcycles alone and went after dumb riced our civics doing burnouts listening to the tokyo drift soundtrack on repeat.

I hate the traffic up there. Plus I'm no speed racer so I'm not up there looking to show off my car.

 

dunno about now but like 2 years ago around 9-11pm there were always some nasty cars running around there. Havnt been up there in awhile since i parted out my VW and sold my bike. I just stay around durham

It's a great area but like you said, the roads are terribly designed. 440 is a bitch.
