I have a DSLR, I have some camera skills, you can look at my threads and you be the judge lol. I don't know how to do photoshop or any of that. Just take decent pictures lol.

I'll probably have two other friends with DSLRs too..

yea. I think most people just want to have a huge meet. One of my acquaintances that I know when I go to the bank, is excited about this meet, I think he's spreading the word in the teggy world.

Rolling shots are hard to do since takes a lot of coordination and room. I've always wanted to do rolling shots of my own car but no one there to take the picture

I'll show you yours if I show you mine?
LOL...if we do Markham park we can take some NICE rolling shots going down SR84...we'll have to get someone to volunteer to drive/shoot while the other rolls. I'm ithching for this...especially when the sun is setting...lol
If you're local we can set something up locally to meet up and do it. 6pm or so when the sun is gorgeous off our black finish and more forgiving to swirls than mid day...

problem with doing evening shots is that you need a good lens to do it. I have a prime lens that has aperture of -1.8 which should be sufficient but the bad thing is that it is a fixed lens so no zooming. But afternoon shots would suffice.

I need to see if my friend can come so he can also take pictures of mine and he would be riding in one of your cars.

I've experimented with the rolling shots like holding a camera and trying to drive. well it doesn't come out as well obvious since Im only using one hand but I figure out the shutter speeds and all. not the best but doable. We also don't necessarily have to go fast. even at 20mph it gives the effect.

Yea, Im sure he is down to go. Night shots are particularly hard with our dark cars. Like sometimes when I do a photoshoot of my car stationary in a lit place, its hard to get the camera to find it. lol.

I shall have cortizone on hand...you better come!

And I agree...with NBP/CBP it's TOTALLY hit or miss whether or not the beauty of the car is captured by the camera. Especially with black wheels!

But you don't have to pay taxes, right? just register the car in Florida?
Can't be much...
There's a tag agency that almost always empty in the shopping center on the Southwest corner of Pines/Flamingo. In the Century Village parking lot!

PS, we live VERY near each other. I finished some of my last credits at FIU at that campus.

Will be great to see a few Acura mods and get some idea's of my own!

I think we should stick with Markham, more of an open area and won't be hassled as much. We just gotta keep it civil and not rev our engines like douches.

Marham it is...
And yes, we CAN get a spot at Markham, but it's so huge that last time I was out there on a Saturday on a prime day, there were still MANY places to set up. You guys up for making it 10am? The earlier the more likely to find a great spot. Easiest would be straight and to the left when you first enter, it's an area on the water facing the dog park. Easy in, easy out...

And yes, please, leave douchiness at home, we all know what our engines sound like and what a japanese car looks like going really fast from 0 to 22mph.
