Alright guys! I have been talking to various members on here and we have decided to plan a Acurazine meet.
At this time there is no exact date...I have pm'd a few of you South Florida guys to raise a little interest...Think about a date that would work for you individually towards the end of Feb. and we can go from there.

Location: South County Regional Park. Palm Beach County.
Date: To be announced.

This particular park has miles of twisting roads and a ton of locations within, which would make for amazing photo shoots...(Loading Docks, Lakes, open fields, a ton of trees, parking lots, and way more)

And yeah Kowloon...We're aiming for late February, so what date would work for you? Either a Saturday or a Sunday would be pretty much the only option. I'm trying to get everybody to say what day would be best and we can all vote on it or something.

Well, I'll most likely be down during the weekend of Valentine's day. It's Chinese New Year, so have to have dinner with the parents. But that is sort of mid Feb. I guess last weekend of Feb and it probably will have to be a Saturday for me since I need to drive back up Sunday.

I too, might be in. Lemme know the specific date. I would probably prefer a Saturday. I can usually get to West Palm in 45 or so...shooting up the Sawgrass exp to the TP.

 

Yeah, I too would prefer a Saturday....What do you guys think of Saturday February 27th?...The park itself is in west Boca Raton, not even West Palm.

 

Maybe like 11-3pm or so...not too long, not too short...can get up there and back really easily. As far as food, let's see how many people chime in etc...Might be easier to meet, take some pics and talk crap and then drive to a subway or something. Unless it's a big group in which case we could bbq at the park and take donations. We should all share the burden, I've heard some horror stories about coordinators of other meets swallowing having to pay for deposits or food on their own.

Also...anyone considering going with DSLR skills? Maybe even some HDR experience? I'm dying to get some shots of that, or even to learn how to do it.

Yeah, I agree...A few hours should be good...If you are in, we have 5 confirmed, and waiting on more...As you can see, Silva, DC, Trew might be in and I am waiting to hear back from a lot more...
As far as food goes, again I agree...We should all chip in or eat afterward. As of now its me and SYLKIE who are organizing, and by all means if you wanna help out...

And yeah...I somebody can take some nice pics.

I have an SLR but im definitely not a professional. I know the basics of HDR but I kind of overdo it so I've backed off of HDR for now. Ill definitely take pictures for the meet. As for food, I think its better that we just go to a restaurant together. I mean there's a Fridays nearby or Ale House.

it's too bad wings plus closed down. that would've been perfect. yo the whip looks sick kowloon! i remember back in july when that thing was bone-stock. big improvement...nice work.

 

I know, tell me about it....We have drove 30 minutes to the Wings Plus on University after this one closed...Used to go to WP like every week.

 

I would be down sounds like a good mini meet... And since the next large meet wont be till around may will work out good.. I would hope we can get more then 10-12 out there hell we get that on some good nights at Tower Shops with no planning.

 

Those HDR shots..even if considered overdone are very nice! I'd be proud to have any of those shots taken of my car!

I know the site has kinda been set...but have you thought about maybe somewhere in between boca and down south? so more people show up? Maybe quiet waters or somewhere that's 20 min. north for us and 20 south for you all?

Just an idea...
and yeah...meet, talk crap...take pics...a beer and some food would be good stuff. and of course talk more crap and share ideas and opinions.
