Need somebody to put a grille on for me - no help from the 'professionals'

I've got a grille I want to have installed on a 2010 standard TL, that a family member is going to be driving. I've called at least a half dozen places and nobody wants to do it. So if somebody in Atlanta does that kind of work and can show me their car or their work on another car.. I don't do this kind of thing but I've had the grille and she really likes it, so if there's anybody out there, please post here or PM me. Thanks.

After reading these forums I see most people do this kind of stuff themselves. If it's not too difficult I'll do it for her, if I have the tools - but I don't know where or how to get the paint. The most work I've done on a car is change a tire.

Are you looking to paint it or have it installed?

Installation should be pretty easy.

installing a grill is almost as easy as changing a light bulb or wiping your own butt after you shit.

To install it you'll need to remove the front bumper (follow the directions linked here). After that it's very simple...just a matter of removing several clips and separating the grille from the bumper.

If you're needing it painted too I suggest you contact a reputable body shop (or a member on here named Nexson). Painting these grilles is a pretty involved process and if you don't do it right the paint will just peel right off.

Thanks for the replies.

I know about Nexson. I've seen people post pictures of their cars he's done work on. I wish I lived near him.

I know most people install the grilles themselves and that it's pretty simple if you know what you're doing. I just haven't done any modifications, so I'm hesitant. And I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to use the grille at all. I decided it kind of dates the car, even though it's pretty. What I'd really like to do is paint it black (it's Palladium Metallic, which I've come to hate), and the mesh silver. I saw one online and really like the way it looked.
