no no no, got a bit jumbled no without the mole skin I got it would have been 180

All 35% - 180
All 35% moleskin on fronts - 245
All 35% moleskin on all 4 - 305

I decided to do the front 2 since I roll them down a lot plus I forgot to mention lifetime warranty on work from them!!! I am letting my camera battery charge will post pics

Out the door on mine was 247.70 just looked at the receipt

Thanks I love the 15%, wish I could go darker though but I'm not going to do it. Not worth the tickets.

yeah i agree 35 is ehhh ok...darker would have been nice but the tickets...especially for you guys the cops in charlotte are rediculous. Alex have you ever had any parts installed there other than the tint?, I want to do the Tien SS with EDFC but dont know how they are with that. Marcus said no problem just wanted a rec you know?, a two hour drive for me is worth to get something done right especially since I dont know how to install suspension

Never had anything installed yet but I've heard many good things about them. I'm going to have a short shifter installed this Friday, I'll let you know how it goes. I wanted them to install my springs but ended up doing it with a buddy of mine. After the install I brought the car over to Marcus so he could check and make sure I did everything correctly. He took about 20 minutes to check and didn't even charge me anything Some of the other Charlotte guys also had some work done there and so far everyone seems pleased. Good luck!

that looks good im going to be getting my car tinted there due to your recommendations. they are a lot cheaper than they charge in NJ too ( i paid 225 on my old car).

i just moved to charlotte i have jersey tags at the moment but im going to register my car down here ... i know legal limit is 32% for tint, but how are the cops with darker than legal windows?? how often is inspection? and is it possible to get passed for inspection with darker windows.... and one more question lol, how much is the tinted window ticket?

NC tint law is 35%. Inspections are annually, and according to NC DMV's website, they charge an extra fee to check aftermarket tints, like $10 each time, although I'm sure a lot of places aren't that strict.

Welcome to Charlotte Speedstyles is a really nice place. The guys are great and they do very good work. I'm sure you can find some place to pass inspection with darker windows. If I find anything I'll post it here, my inspection isn't up until like 2010 though.

I got the same thing at the same place. The workmanship is very good.

However, the rears scratched the first time I rolled the windows down. Had to pay full price to get them redone. So, if you got the "never had any problems with scratches" speech, be warned.

Looks good. I went with 35% as well, but would have liked 20%. I've actually heard of people getting ticketed for it, even though it's not much darker.

I went to some some ghetto audio shop off of Old Statesville Rd, but only paid $100 for 5 windows... and I have bubbles.

I did speed styles too. They were fast. I got 35% and moleskin on all 4 doors. They did an excellent job and I made it a point to ask them if my tint scratches or the moleskin comes unstuck if they would fix it for free and they said they would.

By the way I keep getting sticky lines on my front windows. They look like scratches, but you rub them and it smears. What's up with that?

^Glue from the moleskin. According to the thread on the subject in 3G, you can use Goof Off/Goo Gone/similar to remove it without harming the tint.

For anybody closer to the middle of the state, I went to Tint Protection in Cary. They did an AWESOME job putting 35% all around on my car. My dad decided to get his G35x tinted 35% all around as well so they gave us 15% off of both cars

I highly recommend Tint Wizard even though they are in Wytheville, NC. I live in Durham but have had them tint my car before and have recommended a few of my friends to have their windows tinted there as well. While there are some decent shops in the Triangle, after having a subpar experience with Formula One in Raleigh as well as another tint shop in Raleigh, I decided to return to Tint Wizard. Their is superb and certainly worth the drive there.

i recommended speed styles to a friend of mine with his g37 sedan...

he had them tint 5% over his dealer tinted 35% tint, 39% windshield tint, and 15% taillight tint

came out awesome i think it came to like 305 for everything which to me is a pretty damn good deal... im going to be taking my altima soon for the windows, tailights, and the top of the healights to get tinted

i'm in RDU, looking to get tints in the next week or two. after reading this thread, i'm thinking about making the drive up to charlotte, although cary would be much much closer. do you mind posting up pics of your tint? did they tint behind the gaskets on the back passenger windows, behind he brake light on the back window and do moleskin? how much did yours cost?

his name is jay holder, he owns the business and does all the work himself. The number is 919-730-2485. Leave a message if you cant get in touch with him because he is a full time fire fighter, he does the window tinting at his shop on his own time. Hes been tinting for like 15yrs or something crazy.
