Anyone in the Nashville, TN area with experience on '00 TL timing belt? I know it can be a DIY, but I honestly have no clue where to start. And I'm not comfortable with my lack of skill to take it on by myself. It'd probably take me a week to do it alone. I don't have that kind of time -- a whole weekend (Sat and Sun) would even be too long, really. But maybe one whole day would work.

I know where that is. Do you know the name of the shop, or just what it's near? I can look it up if you're not sure.

Nice, thanks a lot. I'll give them a call when I have a minute and get a quote.

They're supposed to call me back, the guy that does pricing I guess wasn't in there when I called. I called one other place too but they were having technical difficulties. Haha. I'll figure it out though!

UPDATE:

I called Bradley's and for the timing belt alone, the price is $530 plus tax. With water pump, about $750 plus tax. I called another local import shop and they quoted belt + water pump at about $900, including tax. Bradley's comes out to about $75 less with tax.

Surely I can get it done for less?! That's a lot. That's about as much as the total payments I've made on the vehicle so far. Hahaha.

It's cool, I'll do some more research and figure it out. Chances are I'll go with Bradley's.
