Just got back from below the Atlantic Ocean. Boy do I have my work cut out for me thanks to my GF and kids. Not sure she washed my TL during the 3 months I was gone and I have several new scratches from what looks like something about the height of a bicycle, AAARRRGGGHHH! I guess it's time to shop for that 08 TL-S I've been wanting or look into a new paint job.

 

Oh man, that bad!? Seems like I saw a TL-S at Acura of OP or was it craigslist. Anyway, they are out there. Sorry to hear about the TL and welcome back.

The trip was good man... 3141 miles in about 46 hours. Are you guys meeting up anywhere tonight? I have no friends so it would be nice to meet some people

 

im pretty active with the jacksonville car scene so if theres anyway big shows coming up ill try to update this thread. last night i found out at the last miinute there was a HUGE car show at the arlington toyota on the southside. my cars in the shop so i rode out with my boys. when i say big it was big. pretty much the majority of the modded cars in jax was out there last night. imports, muscle cars and retros were all out there.

Hi guys just created an account not to long ago...hubby and I recently purchased an 08 TL in late May and have been around the car scene for a while. I actually know Paz who I see is posting in here (HI MIKEY, lol). Anyways not sure where all you TL's usually hangout but hubby and I are looking for a cool crew to hang with...he drives a blue 03 RSX-S (maybe some of you have seen him around before) with too many things to list that are done to it. Currently the TL is bone stock and I am not sure if we have any future plans for it yet because both of us are currently drooling over the TL-S so who knows what we are going to do yet...the only thing I did so far was tint the windows because it is black on black and get's way too hot inside. Anywho, hubby and I recently bought a house on the Westside so that's the side of town you will see us around the most...Nice to meet you all

 

Congrats on the TL and your new place. Lots of members on the westside including myself. I know some members meet at the Oakleaf towncenter on Saturday evenings around 9 or so, over by the HomeDepot. You may want to check it out.

 

Yeah, my husband and went there pretty often (as a matter of fact we were out there last week) but recently it was broken up by the cops because the younger kids don't know how to act their age, so we meet up with another crowd somewhere else on Friday nights and we started going back to Sonic on Beach last Saturday, but we usually go in the RSX because their is not a single TL out there, plus mine is so stock so I would feel out of place

We should organize a AZ Jax TL meet...besides Oakleaf so you all usually hang out anywhere else?

 

There is a monthly meeting of car enthuisist that meet in the Tinseltown plaza on the 2nd Saturday of each month. They are called Automotive Addicts. We've had a few meets there as well. Lots of different cars and a great turnout. They start at 9am and go to around noon or so. You can google their website for more info. As far as an AZ exclusive meets, I've organized a few but always had pretty low turn outs. I think the most we had was 8. Anyone can post a meet in the Regions section. If you want to get one going, just pick a time and place, start a thread and see what kind of interest you get. We've had a lot of local members join recently so it would probably be a good time for one. Plus it's starting to cool off some. Some members even had meets at their house with a BBQ. Just use your imagination.

What's up guys I've built 3 tsx's and I'm on my 3rd one now it's a 2010 just got my tein coilovers and the exhaust was done last week it's on 20 inch wheels and I had a suede headliner done 2 weeks ago hids in my fog lights and injen intake on the way got lots of plans for it to come maybe turbo kit in feb and I live off Collins road

 

^^^ Do you still have all 3 TSX's? I also live off of Collins, actually Rampart. I'm sure I'll see you from time to time around that area. What color is the 2010 TSX?

 

It's a white Tsx with black and chrome 20's I got the tein coilovers on it last nite I'm trying to get my buddy to paint my roof black like my carbon grey one had with 20 inch forged wheels I was sponsored by nitto tire and nx for my nitrous kit . I will come out to u guys meets if I'm in town during one I just travel alot with work I play professional softball I'm all over fla and ga

Hey everyone, Im new to az and am in jville also. I am on the service rd. at southside and baymeadows. I have the anthricite silver cls6 slammed on 19in wheels. I was thinkin about goin rear turbo, then saw that some people were modifying the v6 turbo kits to fit, then I was thinking about sticking with my original nitrous setup I have sittiing on the back porch!! I dont know what to do!!!ahhhhhh

Oh what's up you finally joined. Well you won't be seeing me for a while. I'm currently in training to go to Afghanistan. I'm not even in florida. I'll be back for like a week in December then I won't be back from Afghanistan until Sep '11. Looks like you got big plans for the cl. I'm pretty much done with my cl. I got something real nice that's going to be hitting the streets of jville when I get back though lol.

 

well damn that sucks! Ive just been reading up on possibly just doing all the major bolt ons and then spraying a 100 shot wet kit but substituting the fuel side for w/a mixture (water/alcohal). Ive been reading that its alot safer to run nitrous this way. Also I get to keep the cl pretty much stock and have my power adder when I want! I have about 3k to burn so I wanna do it right!

 

Well, I traded in the my '06 NBP TL w/nav. But, fear not, I went with an '08 CGP TL w/nav. It also has the upgraded rims. Just need to get outside and put my Type S tails on her and wait for payday to get my Injen CAI as I fell in love with it's sound on my last car. I'll try and post some pics when I get a hold of the woman's camera.

 

Sweet! Very nice upgrade! Hopefully we'll get a meet organized here soon, as the weather cools. I've been talking to another member about one, but right now I'm working out of P'cola until perhaps late this month.

Welcome to AZ I know a few guys meet up at Home Depot in the Oakleaf town center on Saturday evenings. No real official meets of sorts.
