Going to Orlando next weekend; need info

Finally going on a trip with the wife but without the kids. Saturday night we want to bar hop and have a good time. We were thinking City Walk or Church St. Which is better or is there another better option?

Citywalk is alright, but its super crowded and super expensive. There's some decent places downtown. I'd go Church St first. At least there you're out of the tourist zone. I liked Latitudes. Heard good things about the Dragon room, but they wouldn't let me in with the rest of the group because I was wearing shorts (it was like 90 degrees out at 11:00, screw the look I want to be comfortable.) There's a ton of 'em within a few blocks down there. Although I haven't been since I discovered quarter beer night at the dive bar down the road from me. I can catch a ride there and walk home! What more could you want!?!?

Thanks for the tip. If Citywalk is really bad, I'll head over to Church St. At the time I posted I didn't know where we were staying but we ended up at the Portofino so Citywalk is walking distance. This basically nullifies any potential driving issue.

Portofino.......niiiiiiiiiice. Love the beach (at the pool) there. First time I've seen actual sand around a pool. Enjoy yourselves........
