However i am going to start doing lost cost mods first and then move on up. So far all i have done is change inside and trunk lights with white leds. Also i have done white leds on the trunk

I got the HID KIT for $56 on ebay and i went with 5000K to match the factory color. The factory color is 4300k, but this was the nearest that the seller offered. However, it looks just the same. My dad has 06 MDX and he did this mod to his fog. Its been working fine. When you go to the meet next time hit me up i will meet u somewhere and we both can go there.

Here is the Link to the Item

Can you post pics or your HID fogs from this ebayer when you do, do your install? I have been looking for something clean and slightly different at the same time and I dont know if I want to go with the stock 5000K color. Do you have pics of your dad's MDX's fogs? What color temp and are they from the same ebayer? Well I am new to the forum so if they do have a meet in ATL, we can def meet up. I'll be ATL next weekend so, if you get the HID's Im down to install and help so I know what to get into with my TL.

He is out of town rite now. But i will take pictures as soon as he comes back. My dad has the 6000K and it came from the same seller. The only reason i choose to go to with 5000k, because i want my headlights and fog-lights to look the same. I will keep in touch with you , I am free on sundays only so thats when i do all the mods. I will wait till next weekend to do this so you can see it too. I will make a DIY with pictures, just in case if you cant meet up with me.

Hey wats up Donni, I had free time at work so i finally took some pics. As you can see in the picture. The headlight and foglight color dont match in the pictures, but in reality they look the same. I think this is due to the coludy projector that comes with Acura's. Both of the HID Kit's are 6000K.

Wow the HID fogs make a real difference when they are on at night!! I was about ready to buy a set of bulbs that are white to match my exisiting headlights. In the first photo do you think its the angle of the photo on why they look so green? They look brighter than our factory HID headlights.

I think it because our headlights has a projector lens in front of HID bulb which reduces the glare created by the bulbs, whereas in foglights there is nothing in front of the bulb instead of that plastic cover. But if you see it in person you can't tell any difference.
