Alright guy/gals of Hotlanta, After talking to Ty (mn2trance) and others I think we should start a weekly ATL meet! Now it doesn't mean that you have to show up every week but I think it would be cool, like the BMW and other local clubs here that we make a weekly thing and represent the TL's of Atlanta and the Zine! First lets pick a day of the week or weekend that sounds the best and lets try to make this work! LETS DO IT!! START TALKING!!

since this will be a regular thing what do ya'll say we make it a weekday? most of us probably have shit to do on the weekends. we could do wednesday night dinner meets to help us get over humpday... just an idea

 

I just got an 08 TL, and I am definitely interested in seeing the different things you guys have done with yours. Wednesday sounds as good as any. Keep in mind the full time worker bee schedule when figuring out a time. It would be preferable for me to leave straight from work, I get off at 3:15.

 

If it's a weekday, you'll have to factor in the rush hour traffic, too, if it's not a local thing. I know the best pho places are in Chambodia and even with the back roads, it still gets pretty congested the closer it gets to the weekend. My weekend is pretty open unless I'm heading to my mom's to do some yard work for her.

And if we do meet, what would be a good time?

 

congrats on gettin' the 08! get ready to open your wallet a bit more because once you see what some of these guys have on their TLs... you'll want it as well

 

good point about rush hour traffic. not a big fan. if we meet at 630-700 would we miss the traffic? or we could just set it up for the weekend if that's easier.

 

Yeah, we'll be missing traffic around that time. We just need to go before it's quitting time at the pho place.

Thanks man, I am starting the process of installing my stereo, and it is sucking money like a vacuum. Got new speakers, but now the rms is too high for my old amps, now I need the new amp to prevent clipping, then the wiring...it goes on and on...

If you guys want to do the weekend thing, Friday or Saturday will work for me. Just make sure some TL's go!

so far just the wheels and upper strut brace.

started painting the 02-03 tl kit last friday, but it has a ways to go. front and rear are gonna have to be fabricated to fit.

and as for the oem nav conversion, I got go get wiring harnesses

Hey guys- Can't make this one.. Chamblee is about 35 miles from me so it will be a rush to get there after work. I'm definitely game for weekly meetings though.. maybe at a variety of different locations?

Sorry haven't been around in quite sometime super busy with work and everything. The car is at Jackson right now getting the recall work done and checkin out the terrible vibrations i'm getting when i drive. I probably wont make it out this wednesday.
