like i said i just got here and dont know the area at all, hell i dont even have my car here yet! But there's no time like the present. As soon as i get on my feet and the weather stabilizes cruising and food will be top of the list.

 

There is currently an attempt to put together a meet in Atlanta. Some of us in AR and Memphis may try to meet up and caravan to Atlanta (less than 8 hrs from The Rock). If you are interested, check out the thread:

This Saturday is supposed to be nice and relatively warm. Is anyone down for breakfast or lunch and a cruise?

 

I would do it this weekend but my friends from Mississippi are coming down. I have a a friend with a FRS and he would be down sometime too

 

im bringing my car down next week and i plan to be more active on this site as the weather continues to improve. as to that meet in atlanta i doubt i'll be able to go but i'll see what i can work out.

 

What's up everyone. I'm going to try and be more active on this post also. Like SB new edition to the family so my time is limited. I'm in the LR/Benton area also. If I am not at work I would be down for a little grub and cruising. Just hit me up.

Just saw this... Ive been living in all parts of AR over the past 7 years with my 2006 TL. You may have seen me in the Fayetteville area from 2006-2008 but since then I've been in the Conway area. There are a few others here that dont know about this chapter either that I know. Ill get them over here as well as they are on acurazine too. But anyway, hey guys!

We are looking to do a joint AR/TN meet/get-together on Saturday, May 18. Those of us in AR will meet in the morning hours, probably at Starbucks in Jacksonville, and convoy over to Memphis to meet the TN folks. Thanks, you should look into the MSA car show this summer. A couple of us on Acurazine were in it last year in Conway and are planning on doing it again this year. In fact one of us won best Honda/Acura. You should check it out, and if you ever are in Conway hit me up.

Nice to see another person repping in Arkansas. Good looking 3G TL. We definitely know about the MSA car, truck, and bike show. I'm planning on going this year. I think it's July 13th this year. Hopefully, you and a couple of the other guys can meet up with cdavis1 and me for the AR/TN cruise on May 18th.

What's going on, AR AZiners. TN folks didn't have enough interest in a get-together this weekend; however, we are still getting together this Saturday, the 18th. ActRightSB and I are still planning on meeting at Starbucks, along with our sons, for some much needed coffee. We will do some cruising and plan on having lunch at CJs Butcher Boy in Russellville (in the words of Samuel L. Jackson, "This is a tasty burger!"), after which we will cruise back to the LR area and go from there. Who knows, maybe we will see a movie too. As of this morning, Saturday's weather looks fantastic, sunny and 87.

There is a group of us getting together this Saturday, July 13. We will be meeting at Starbucks in Jacksonville at 10am. From there, we are heading to Conway to check out the Motorsports Authority Car Show. From there, we are heading over the Russellville, then cruising north on Arkansas' renown Highway 7. We will stop in Jasper to have a late lunch/early dinner at Ozark Cafe. In case you aren't familiar, Highway 7 is one of the top roads in the country for cruising due to its beauty and windy curves (take some motion sickness pills if you get car sick). Ozark Cafe is over 100 yrs old and has some terrific food. Feel free to join us.

Dang that sounds really fun. Too bad my son's bday fell on the same day as the car show this year. I won't be able to join you guys.

Just recently finished a project of putting in some Angel Eyes and restyling the headlights. Also repainted the engine bay and waxed the ride. Here are a few pics:

 

Have fun with the son. My son's birthday was July 4th. He starts junior high next month. They grow quickly.

Looking good. Did you break open the headlights and do the work yourself? Did you have any hiccups or challenges?

 

Yes, I have done some headlight work for some local AZiners in Fayetteville in the past when I lived up there. The first time I did it, I had a few hiccups here and there with getting the lights out, but this time marks the 8th time I've pulled out headlights and cleared/painted them. Takes me about 15-20 minutes to have both lights out. lol Practice makes perfect I guess...

Whats up fellas, new guy from Fayetteville here. Been a Toyota and lexus guy for a long time - my wife's new TSX has really impressed me and I think I might be converted back to Honda. We moved to NWA from Maumelle a few years ago, looks like Central Arkansas is where the fun is!

 

Welcome to the AR Forum. There is really only two or three of us that are active in the state. We do try to make trips all over in hopes of pulling folks from everywhere. Glad you could join the forum.
