I love Bens CL, I can look at it all day.
So I'm taking the family to the beach for the weekend.
And we have been taking my girls car to places instead of the TL. And yes I jam all my kids in the slammed TL haha.
Have fun at the meet and take lots of pictures please and have a safe weekend everyone.

no we were discussing what i used for mine and where i got it. i cant remember the price i payed. over a year of daily driving and scraping over speed bumps its held up well, no chipping or cracking.
yes very easy to cut. i used a handheld cut off saw then went over the edge with a file. its too thick of tin snips, anything with a rotary grinding wheel would work. air sheers might work

Serious talk, opinions on coil overs...
I am ordering Camber kits before hand so I have those parts ready to install when I install the coilovers to avoid burning through tires.
I am torn between Megan's for adjustability and because Tyler swears by them, but the Tein's for price and the fact that everyone and their mother loves them...
I've heard good things about both. Just trying to decide for the sake of the $300 price difference.
Thoughts?

If you want to go low then you need something like the Megan's that is independently height adjustable from the spring perch. Also by low I mean anything more than like 1.25in drop which I believe is the recommended drop on both the basics and the ss TEIN models. You have to get into the Flex models at least in the past to get independent height adjustable TEINs
How many times do I have to tell you this?
If you just want a mild drop, get the TEINs. Like Jason said, if you want more than about a 1.5" drop, go with the Megans. They go insanely low and still offer damping adjustment. The only downside is that they cannot be rebuilt if they go out.

I know a lot of bad stuff from the subie side on BC Racing but they are another option I believe. I have them on the F and have had them for around 70k miles now and they have been rock solid. They can't be rebuilt in the sense like TEIN but you can replace the entire center cartridge with a new one for only about $140 I believe so it is like replacing a regular strut in my opinion. When I get to 150k which will be about 100k miles on them I might need to do that.
Bryan, earlier at lunch I was eating with my niece's cousin whom is from las vegas and she says 'this is what my boyfriend wants to make his car look like'...and shows me a photo that you took of your civic. I was like oh shit that's my friend's old car!
