Yeah bro no problem, I've been real busy this week with work so haven't gotten a chance to get on here a whole lot or even get a good chance to look at the IA pics, but I'd like to check out some of these spots y'all are meeting at during the week and weekends. I'm planning on making it to cars n coffee this weekend too.
I'm new here, I've heard these are the newest of the UNCC meets and they're pretty big. Seems like every year or what not this happens for half the summer then campus police shut it down. I started a car group on campus like 8 years ago, same thing happened. Eventually got to big, then fizzled out.
Gonna have to roll through this at some point though.

So....definitely sitting around being sad today about my Downforce lip
I *haaaaate* random pieces of semi-truck tire in the road. It's like no matter how careful I am, or how much I park a block away and walk to avoid speed bumps, that's the one "red herring" I can't control.

Anyone around here interested in buying my 03 TLS wheels? I have 5 of them and definitely want/need to sell them. Great price for great people. PM me if you are interested. 3 of them were on the car since i have had it, until about 2 months ago when i got new wheels. 1 is pretty new with about 30000 miles on it(replaced by insurance from getting ran off the road). and the other one has some curb rash from me getting ran off the road. If you just want to check them out, i am more than happy to let anyone come look at them.

It was 1x1 CFRP. I got lucky with the OEM lip above it, only a very small crack and a couple of the attachment points got ripped off. The CFRP piece is littered across 485 though. I think I'll get another one next month or something...but I just don't know how I'm going to attach it now lol.

Sorry to hear about your lip that definitely sucks. I am always worried about stuff in the middle of the highway and cringe when I have to go over something hoping it will clear.
I have learned that front lips don't last. Which is precisely why I spray painted the one on the lexus
The gash on my TL front bumper is from a cross walk on UNCCs campus near the stadium.
I feel your pain Evan.

It's way too tall! I haven't been through that route ever since. I guess they haven't fixed it.
Evan posted this on my wall earlier and I have to share it. This is the convoy of my dreams.

Suddenly, a wild road gator (truck tire) appeared on the horizon and I had no defense. It hit the front crossmember, snapped my secondary O2 defouler, destroyed the O2, dented the floorboard, and gouged/tore my back bumper. I was not amused.

I like the CDM spec 8G Civic too. That NSX needs to DIAF though.

A couple years ago I was heading to work in a construction zone. I was in the left lane with no shoulder, just a jersey barrier, and an 18 wheel to my right.

Who all is coming to C&C tomorrow, and what time are you guys cruising in?
You should come hang out with us at Springfest. Just think about passing through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, and listening to that glorious supercharger whine echo as you rip through the gears.

Not sure what weather report you guys are looking at but up until noon 2pm tomorrow there is a 10% chance or less or rain being reported. Any showers for tomorrow are being reported as being afternoon showers and even then only a chance of about 30%. Sunday though is a different story all together.
I just looked at the forecast and it is the biggest most epic failed weekend evar for the month of may.
However, it is perfect weather to stay at home and build LEGOs all day.

I feel like I'm gonna drive up there, whether in the TL or IS300 i'm not sure. Haven't been to VA Beach in over a decade. The FB page has 1600 confirmed as going which is a good amount, even if half of the people show up.
