Just sweet talk the waitress...who knows, you might even get more than an extra glass .
LOL, I know, right? That was the original plan, and it would've allowed me to get two or three in before I had to leave to meet the group. Guess everyone felt they could be slack and leave work early or something. How irresponsible. On the up side, we'll have a cooler with beers in the car .

Hope there is more than piss water beer in that cooler too.

Hey all. FYI, I updated the C&C thread for this weekend. Really going to try to be there. As of now, I am a go. I wanted to have the FJ updated before I attended my first C&C of 2011 (have a bunch of upgrades waiting to go on), but just have been too busy with the house. Anyway, hope things don't change so I can finally get to one...

You should plan an install day I would be down for coming and lending a hand to get things installed sometime to make things go quicker.
I will be at C&C minus the new wheels already as they are going back to have one bent lip fixed and get them refinished already. Have the front lowered but still haven't got the rears installed yet.

^ Not a bad idea. Just thinking of what I have to do (bull bar, HID projectors, paint the grill surround, install 3 or 4 black bumper pieces, and the trailor hitch with the black fascia). Think that's it Things have just been nuts with the house. I have to get new pics since the outside is basically done. Well, the actual outside of the house anyway, landscaping still has a long way to go
Glad to finally see the IS-F!

Doh!! Sorry to hear. I wasn't online much after Thursday... so didn't see that you wouldn't be there. We did a bunch of laps and kept telling my wife... you see either of his cars? Did I miss it?
Anyway, hope it wasn't anything major. Unfortunately I don't have any solid recommendations. I can tell you that I worked at Keith Hawthorne Ford for a little while last year and the Wilburn Autobody that was on-site (separate facility, but on the lot) did some great work. A guy brought in a $150k limited edition (numbered with plaques)Rousch Mustang where he curbed a rim and scuffed the lip. When they were done, couldn't tell either was ever an issue.
Maybe check them out? You can tell them Denis who used to work in QuickLane from Nov-Jan recommended them... the main guy may remember me.

So you were so upset that I missed TMac night that you went out and did something stupid? Well, don't worry, I'll be there this week.
Seriously, I hope you're ok. As for where to go, any of the big places, like B&R and Wilburn, are good. Charlotte Paint & Body did a good job on my last car.

So the places I have narrowed it down to in no particular order are, The Body Shop Collision Center, Body Works Plus, Wilburn Auto Body, Carolina Collision Center, and Import Paint and Body.
So far two of you have mentioned Wilburn so that is what I am leaning towards but do have any of you heard anything negative about any of the other places that might help me eliminate any of them. They all have at least a 4 start rating on Google. I am also going to see how they all rate with BBB and will report back with that as well.
Wilburn gets an additional slight lead because it is the only place of the 5 that actually has a location in Mooresville and the rest are in Charlotte so I would have to get it towed there.

Ok so narrowed it down to 3 final places.
Import Paint & Body - No BBB Complaints listed
Collision Specialties - No BBB Complaints listed
Lake Norman Collision Center - No BBB Complaints listed
Import Paint & Body and Collision Specialties have the most mention across forums Like Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche. I have found multiple postings on them. The only thing that has me holding up on going to them is they are basically an hour away from me.
I found Lake Norman Collision Center on Ferrari Chat and some guy has taken his Ferrari and two Porsche's there and I guess if he was happy with the work on a Ferrari then it must be good for my Lexus. Its also only 22min away instead.

Nope. After three rounds of interviews and reference checks, I'd expect a phone call/e-mail of some sort, regardless of the message (yes, no, still deciding). There's one at my old company I'm going to put in for...we'll see. Still going to have to get the house on the market, though; can't sit on it any longer.
By the way, it's miserably hot out .

Definitely is ridiculously hot outside. Gf was outside tanning for 20min and came back in and you would have thought it had just rained or something.
I will be at University TacoMac at 4:50 or 5pm. I think Aaron and Chelsea should be there at the same time but Eric and Dorthy aren't coming cause Eric works till 10pm I guess.

Yeah, it's definitely down from what I would've gotten a couple of years ago.
Been pouring here for the last couple of hours.
Just got done for the day...in no mood to drive across town at this point.
