I just found out the requirements for helmet is snell 2005 or newer which means I can't use my brothers 2000. I don't suppose you have an extra one Sean? I'd like to avoid the $30 dollar rental fee they charge if possible.

 

I hope you see this in time but snell 2000 is fine. From the website:

"The recommended helmet is the latest Snell Automobile (SA) rated helmet (currently SA2005), although we will accept any Snell rated helmet"

What a blast! Passed some cars I didn't think I could pass, got passed by some cars I didn't think could pass me lol

Best time I managed was a 1:54.0
My car felt great out there I was running about the same times as the 3 S2000s in my group.
Definately recommend this to everyone who loves driving, I wish I did this sooner.

Great meeting you too Sean, I wish my car was as track ready as yours. Still, I'm happy about how I performed with stock shocks and long lasting all season rubber. Do your rear tires still have dry goop-y rubber on them by any chance? Mine are chalk full with them because they can't wear them out as fast as the fronts. Plus now I have a weird humming noise that comes and goes but only at 65mph. Here is a picture of you blasting down the straight. I took it when I overheated and pulled over halfway through the session to let her cool down I managed a 2:06. The slowest time on the list, and 6 Seconds slower than the next slowest Miata.

2:06 is damn impressive for your car. I bet the dude with the Lotus didn't even turn a lap that fast lol
