so, looks like the dealer sold it about a week after i traded it in. this was at the begining of FEBRUARY. n i havent seen anyone here driving it.

I did not buy your car. But wanted to read your comments comparing the TL and S2000. I am thinking of buying a s2000 this year. Specifically I am interested in your thoughts on the following:
transmission
brakes
quickness

 

lets see. where to start.

the tl was a car everyone saw n said, man that is nice!!! it has awsome features and styling. the power it made was awsome, specially at freeway speeds. i never had a problem with the factory brakes, they always provided enough stop power.

now as for the s2000. this little thing puts a smile on youre face before your even in it. it provides a never ending feeling of joy when driving it. it is much, MUCH MORE NOISY. but eh, it has other attributes to make up for it.

now, it isnt very fast of the line. the TL felt a bit quicker, but once you hit 2nd and 3rd in it, it MOVES.... i havent lauched it yet, so im not too sure about tranny but, you can feel the vibrations from it. (being that its basicaly righ next to you. I would try racing on the freeway with it, feels slower than the TL at those speeds.

and last, the brakes are awsome. just today i had to really hit the brake n boi, the cars nose goes straight to the gorund. im on stock brakes too. i love them, no need for upgrades. unless, you go with FI.

i bought the S because i like it, who cares if everyone else like the TL better!

 

I wish I knew you were selling a 6sp MT TL in OC. How many miles, nav?, mind PMing what they took in traded for it? Hows the MPG like on the s2k?

 

thanks for your insights comparing TL to S2000. Your S2000 color combination is my choice too. I hope I can find a similiar one; where did you buy your S2000?

 

no navi, daily drove it 60 miles (freeway). total ok 72k miles at the time. and the mpg on the s2000 seems about the same.

btw, mine had the A-Spec kit on it;

i had been looking to pick one up for about 1/2 a year. i found it at a mitsubishi dealership. i financed it, and they took my car. since it wasnt a honda dealership its not certified but, car runs great. looks mint, and is ecxactly what i wanted it. (try to buy grom honda certifired if possible)
