I know nothing about this area. Is it a good place to live? How's the crime? What is there to do there?

Not much to do up there.

Can get really hot up there too. It's basically the desert.

Cost of living is cheap though.

 

I wouldn't recommend living there unless you work there.

It's what you make of it. Living expenses are low, plenty of shopping and restaurants every city has a good side and a bad side. There's just as much ghetto as there is nice and clean. You can get a great deal on a house and in a nice area. If you're in to clubbing, you will going down the hill a lot. There are some decent bars, but nothing special. They get the job done. If I missed anything just pm me. I live out here.

 

Passed nearly a dozen times from Portland to San Fransisco. NEVER stopped there.
