Transporting car cross country

Does anyone know anybody that transports cars? The best quote I've got to transport a car to VA from here is about 740. If anyone knows anyone cheaper please let me know.

thanks!

Shipped mine for $850 from Mount Olive, NJ to Northridge, CA. I got quotes from $750 to $1100, I looked up reviews on http://www.transportreviews.com/ and made my decision from there.

My broker was Magic Carpet Auto Tranport, they are the biggest in the industry.

I just did mine from TN to CA for about 350 via UHaul on a full trailer... and they have cheaper options. If that is not an option for you, $740 is not to bad of a price for an open trailer.

I transported a car from Oklahoma to VA and it cost $800, but the car didnt have an engine or brakes so the rate was higher. $750 cross country is pretty good.

I got a quote to do the drive from NYC to Socal for $400 for the trailer. I didn't want to do the hitch that just lifts the front wheels. Sounds good considering you wont be restricted to driving at the blistering speed of 55 miles/hour the whole way.
