Some sht happened from a guy on Acurazine.

So basically, me and "Heyitzjamesz" agreed on swapping trunks and him putting cash on top because he wanted my Type-S Lip and I wanted his Wing Spoiler. This was last week around Friday 4/19/13. So I said yea sure let's do it.

At the time my car was at an auto shop getting a transmission rebuild. I was out when he called me over the phone about the swap and he wanted me to ask the auto shop if it was cool to do the swap while it was at the shop. So I told him the name of the auto shop so he can google it and get their number..so I can ask them if we can do the swap at the shop.

I found out that I had stuff to do that day so I said to Heyitzjamesz, hey why don't you just give me a call next week and will figure it out from there. He said ok.

Then fastforward to this week, I went over to the auto shop just to check on the car and found out that my trunk was switched! He didn't even swap trunks, he just swapped the spoilers, which we didn't agree on. He didn't even call me or let me know or even give the money on top. SO he did that himself and the guys that worked there told me that he called me and I even wrote a letter stating that I said the swap was ok. So he basically made a fake letter and called a fake person.

He has the same exact type of car as mine, I believe 04-08 TL Silver. I think he's located in Cypress/Cerritos area. I think his car maybe lowered and obviously, he's going to be rocking my Type-S Lip.

I called that foo many times but he picked up once. Then I think I scared the kid and after that one phone call, he never picked up. If anyone knows about this or sees him let me know. James if you're reading this, just give me a call, I'm not gonna kick your ass. I'm a Martial Art instructor, I have more discipline than that. Just wanna talk some sense into you and you owe me some money.

Forgery and Larceny...
Then go over and kick his ass

When you find out where he lives and shit, let everyone from azine in So Cal know, so we can all kick his ass, and you can have 2 trunks with spoilers in your possession.

 

Should double-check if they have surveillance cameras at the shop. I don't want to get the cops involved. I want to find him myself.

Why not get cops involved?...You have enough evidence..

 

take him to small claims court.

 

let him know if he does not get this solved within the next 3 days you will go to the police with your info as well as the shops surveillance video and will have him arrested.

I think you're better off not saying anymore than this. If the suspect member in question sees your post & that you've posted information on him, you may be giving him some room to take action of his own.

 

What if said suspect post's his own address on another internet site and someone just post's a link to that site would he have any recourse?

Good to know that everything seems to working itself out. But I'd like to know the name of this shop.

Personally, I would not do business with a shop who can't be bothered to confirm things themselves with the owner and will just let anyone off the streets come in and mess with another persons car.

Very poor business standards.

But all in all, it was partly my fault. I shouldn't have gave a random guy the name of the shop my car was at.

And also the workers at the shop should have MADE SURE and called me to confirm that it was actually me confirming the swap with my cell number. I did let em know that it was partly their fault also but didn't want to go too far with it cuz they gave me a crazy deal on the transmission rebuild. Lesson learned: Don't be too trusting even if people sound "alright" over the phone. I would have never imagined something like this would of happened.

The kid agreed to meet me on Monday.
