it's not confirmed yet because we haven't officially claimed the park for that day but i already took thomas burton park out of the equation. it looks like it's going to be rowland heights park since that's what we're all intending for. i'm gonna do my best to hold the spot down.

and i did read up on what jjashaa said about getting tickets for staying after park hours, i guess it is true and it does happen and they do end up being misdemeanors. if anything, either i'll park far away and walk to the park and hide out (LOL), or i will just park nearby and hope no one comes thru to take the spot (i'll be facing the park)

Hey guys, as promised.. I would set up a meet/BBQ potluck. I'm thinking we should try the BBQ potluck again since last time, it was a fail (not enough interest/people going). This is just a planning thread that will later be official after everything is figured out.

I think the ideal month for the BBQ potluck would be in the month of June, towards the end of the month since that's when most people are done with school. Feel free to chime in as I cannot cater to everyone's availability.

As for location, I'm thinking of trying something different and having it down in the OC area. Possibly the same spot that the [T S X club] guys had their last big meet/bbq at last time (Garden Grove Park).

So, lets gather up some opinions and have the list going!

hi guys. i just came back from checking out the park in person. there are two large shaded areas with canopies and grills. one is right in front of the park when you enter and the other is all the way near the back of the park. i'm gonna basically park my car on the street and scope out from there. i'm gonna reserve the first shaded canopy area first since it's closest to what my eyes can see and if we can, we can get switch over to the other shaded area near the back of the park once Ray comes.. which i think is the best because there's a ton of shade back there although the one in front, you can see all of our cars in the parking lot.
