Me and a fellow Acurazine member " Acurajj " is planning to throw a Acurazine meet ! As of now I do not know the exact date nor time. Let us know what's the best time and date that works for most of us. Acurajj will be taking photos as well as photoshooting cars ! What would be the best location ??

If you're going to have it in LA. Why not just call it a Los Angeles meet?

The same thing always happens. 99% of people do not want to go to a meet that is more than 5 minutes from their backyard, and in the end the meet won't happen at all, or only 5 people show up.

I'm down for where ever it happens. Driving is no problem for me. Just need to know way in advance what day it'd be. Looking fwd to meeting some new people.

we had people from Moreno Valley/Corona/Victorville come out to our SoCal meets.... now its just oh no, lets stay close to 626.

I'm in, haven't been to a meet in a while. I suggest south gate park (google map it) and March 3rd @ 1130am for time and date. Seems like a central and general area with shade and bbq combo lots of parking and close to a bunch of freeways. Never been to this park, so if it sucks, and you personally have experience with it, suggest something else.

 

Completely agree. shit we use to have 100+ cars and people from vegas/bakersfield come to our meets, and we did have a meet in SD once.

not to mention people have odd hours at work as well.

 

oh i thought this was just a small 10-15 car meet.. now if were doing a LARGE MEET then that is something else.. i dont mind driving the distance. Caravan comes in to mind but i wouldnt drive to SD 2 hours away for just a meet.

 

I don't mind driving little far with the caravan so I can try some rolling shots

Might as well make it big, bigger the better right lol. The SD meet was pretty legit, think we had like 20+ cars roll down there.

Id say Costa Mesa. The South Coast Plaza Mall off brisol st. it has a huge parking lot, and its a pretty fair drive for everyone coming from la,sd,ie,sgv.

 

I'm in Fullerton/ Los Angeles on the weekends and I'm down for SD. Why would I commit to such a long drive you all ask?



But you know, if there's going to be one closer to OC/ LA, I'm down for that too.

 

^^^ FYI There's a Phil's in San Marcos too.

 

That's the one that I went to with my buddies. After finding out that they opened one in San Marcos, we started going there rather than to the one in San Diego. Saves us a 40 minute drive and I love how there's practically no wait at the San Marcos location! Also makes me wonder how the Applebee's is still in business with Phil's right next to it.

The parking lot is pretty big too.
