I think so. I was on chargers.com and it didn't say anything about a blackout. Just mentioned the time of the game and which tv channel it's airing on.

Happy Halloween!!! Don't go too crazy tonight. And remember, don't drink and drive!

 

So, I spent all week working in Florida. I fly back in last night after nine hours of airplanes at like 11pm and there is a DUI checkpoint by my house. Takes me 15 minutes to get to the front and I wasn't worried cause I don't even drink. However, the cop is about to wave me through and he sees I have no front plate, so they wave me over to their holding lot and make me sit there for like 30 minutes. While I'm waiting, Carlos texts me about the checkpoint and it turns out he is in the same lot for the same reason, haha! Anyways, 30 minutes later they finally get to me and start asking me questions, "Did you know it's against the law to have no front plate? "Really? I didn't know that...I took it off to detail my bumper and haven't had a chance to put it back on."

Anyways, after all the crap I get let go with nothing but half an hour wasted....so annoying. Oh well. Stay safe tonight everyone.

 

Other funny story: Talking to my customer this week it comes up that we both like the show Top Gear. He mentions that he has every episode and that he will give me some. Pretty sweet deal, I think. Anyways, that night my co-worker tells me that the customer is gay and thinks I'm cute, which is why he's giving me the episodes. So, the next morning I go into work and he hands me a half terabyte hd with all episodes from all 13 seasons and says to me, "Go ahead and keep the hard drive." Haha, it looks like I have a gay sugar daddy in Tampa now.

 

Cops wouldn't place DUI checkpoints if they weren't effective. So I am okay with spending some time sitting around if I bump into one.
