This car sounds like a Supra .. and goes like one too .

I'm sure off the line this car would be disgusting to launch, you're almost inevitably going to break something if it hooks and spin if it doesn't.

Imagine this car from a 60mph roll .. it would be giving 10 / 11 second cars plenty of trouble.

 

I raced a hyndai elantra today in my volvo. I was redlining it from 10mph to 65mph and he took me by a fender lol

So I sold the TL tuesday for dirt cheap but it's ok, that thing was a pos to me.

And now I'm actively pursuing 05+ G35 6MT's and 06+ Civics.

Nah, turns out it was the starter. I'm also looking at 05-06 RSX-S'.

No way man, I love the coupes! haha G35 coupe > G35 sedan but G37 Sedan > G37 coupe.

I feel like the RSX-S is the best blend of performance and economy but I'm scared that it might be "slow". I know those K20's are mod-friendly but I basically want to be able to hang with or pull on VQ35DE and Rev-Up Z's and G's. Once I can do that, I'm straaaaaaight.

 

In that case, just get a 6MT CL Type S and call it a day. Add mods, and you're passing some of those VQ35s.

I had a feeling it wasn't the battery... seemed too fishy how it never even cranked over when tommy's car was going to work on it....

 

That's truley what I would do If I were him. I'm not trying to be biased though since that's what I drive, it's just that the engine has way more potential towards reasonable mods than the g, (yes it's wrong wheel drive), but at the end of the day, no one in here is going to be making a turbo 450whp monster.... I also raced a G 6mt at qualcomm once and I was getting better 60 foot times than him.

Insurance is a lot cheaper on the CL as well because it's classified as half sport, half luxery, instead of full on "sport coupe". The G does out handle the CL though, but a CL with proper suspension mods can hold it's own against a good amount of rwd cars and still go fast enough on turns to scare the crap out of you. It also doesn't pop up on the streets 5 times a day. I guess it all really comes down to personal preference though

 

Idk man I just love G35 coupes. Nothing else on the road really excites me like they do. They're damn near perfect to me.

 

G35s are great cars, but they're a dime a dozen! I see at least 5 on the way to work .. and that's at 5:30 in the morning .

I'm slowly going upside down in my Accord right now, no way I could take out a loan for $23,000 after taxes . My car payment would be around $450 -$500 a month depending on what I'd qualify for.

I plan on keeping my Accord for awhile .. rather than dropping $4000 - $5000 for a down payment .. why not just swap a J32A3 w/ 6MT LSD from a 3G TL?

Full bolt onts + J32A3 + LSD + 3200lb Accord = straight NASTY.

 

lol. It would be much easier to just retrofit a supercharger on it than do a swap :P
