Taking the CL in tomorrow to Hoehn Acura to get my timing belt service done and underdrive pulley installed!

It will be done in time for me to race it in the 1/4 mile this weekend and hopefully get into the 13's

She still runs like a champ though, I pulled the fuck out of a G35 yesterday.

From what I've gathered, VQ motors come pretty much peaked from the factory and our J-Series motors actually open up better with mods vs the VQ. Right..?

I got pulled on today from a stoplight to the top of 2nd gear. An older gentleman (low 50's?) in an 06-07 Mustang GT gunned it at the same time I did from a light and we stayed even till I got into 2nd gear. Then he slowly started pulling away and shut down probably ~1 - 1.5 cars tonight by the top 2nd gear when we shut it down.

 

The other day I flew past an E36 M3 and an SRT Neon which were racing on my Fizzer.

 

lol, that doesn't count. Although, I'm sure your CL could pull on both of them anyway with your mods....

 

Dude, I think the perfect car for you would be an Is300 6-Speed

you have to remember those is300 have the 2jz motors in them. slap a fat turbo on them and your flying, such a bad ass car, one of the nicest factory gauge clusters also
