I want to shop around and get a few quotes from the Honda and Acura dealerships for the "A12" service before I actually attempt to DIY it.
A12 Service:
- Oil Change
- Tires Rotated & Balanced
- Cabin Air Filter Check/Change
- Engine Air Filter Check/Change
Quick question though; How often do I need to change my engine's oil filter? I just had it done at 108,129 miles. I'm currently at 112,4xx. Do I need to replace it?

How often should you change you cabin air filter? And is there any way to tell whether or not it needs to be changed?
Sorry that I ask a lot of questions guys but I searched for time intervals of changes on Azine and I couldn't find a specific answer. It ranged from 12,000-20,000 miles and it didn't say whether or not there was any way to tell if the cabin filter needs to be changed.
How often should you change you cabin air filter? And is there any way to tell whether or not it needs to be changed?

change the oil filter with every oil change. its like around $10 from the dealer so why not... idk about the cabin air filter though, sorry
since you're a little over 4k miles since u changed it last, i'd change the oil and oil filter soon.. make sure to get the crush washer ( less than $1) from the dealer too. it goes on the drain plug to make a good seal, it should also be replaced every oil change

After reading around some of the oil discussions on Acurazine / V6Performancee , I am moving away from synthetic oil. I will be going back to conventional dino oil and changing every 5,000 miles ..

I'm planning on going to Hoehn Acura in Carlsbad. That's where I took my car to get my 2nd gear and clutch replaced. The air box filter needs to be replaced if it looks like it's really dirty. You should open it up and check.

Yeah, I'll definitely change the oil filter.
Thanks for letting me know about replacing the crush washer, I didn't know that before.
That's not a bad idea. I may have to pick a date (when I have enough cash) to flush all my fluids and basically do an all around inspection of my car too.
I think the air box filter should be fine, I haven't even had it on for 5,000 miles yet. I'll probably change it out between 10,000-15,000 miles.
