nice restaurants?
around Burbank, Hollywood, Downtown LA area that you would recommend? Food can be anything from Japanese, Italian, American, etc... but mainly somewhere w/ a nice view and romantic setting?

I second this. The wait can be up to an hour if you're going on the weekend during their busy hours.
I suggest getting the portobello mushroom fries and if you really want to make your date happy, order a chocolate souffle for dessert.
If she's not big on chocolate cake, then you should check out Diddy Riese located in Westwood. They specialize in cookies and they can even make ice cream sandwiches out of em!
If you're willing to drive to Newport Beach, there's also an Italian restaurant called Villa Nova. The view is amazing and the food is priced around the same as Bottega.
And I know this isn't really a restaurant but there's a romantic location called "Urban Light" at the LACMA. You should go here at night for this
Hope this helped!

Like others have said, Cast Away has a great view but is around 40 dollars a person. A unique place to go and sort of romantic depending on your definition of the word is The Stinking Rose in Beverly Hills. It's a romantic atmosphere and they specialize in garlic drenched food. Another nice place is the Lake View Terrace Golf Course Restaurant. Great view of the course and hills if you sit outside but the food varies everyday. They serve chicken fingers one day and have a full brunch buffet on Sundays so check out their daily menu before you go.
