beyond a dealer does anyone know of a locksmith that cuts and programs the keys for a 3g 2005tl. I want to get a flip key to replace a lost key.

 

You can buy the key itself that can be used for your tl from marcus @ heeltoe.
I got my key programmed and cut at Cypress lock and safe. Look it up on yelp, I was in and out in less than 15 and they programmed the keyless entry part too

 

What would I need to get the new flip key cut and programmed? Just my original remote + key? And how much did it run you? Thanks!

 

you need your old key, your vin number to program the chip in the key. to program the remote you need to have your car

 

i have one of the original black keys, also the keycode/barcode that came with the keys. Im guessing thats what he needs.

ive done the remotes, just need the key programmed

They can cut and program the key in like 15 minutes for only $35. They know what they're doing.

Or you can just look up locksmiths in your area. Use yelp. Call them up or stop by and ask them if they can do it. Thats how I found California Lock & Safe.
