need help. got a ticket for "not updating driver license address" what to do?

well last month i got a ticket for having a outdated driver license showing my old address

i have already submitted my change of address via online with dmv and i got a temp card stating that i have a change of address and also the print out receipt from dmv website showing it has changed..

now my question is.. do i need to go to chp to get this corrected? or can i just show that print out to the court? do i really have to get a new drivers license showing my updated address? i called dmv and they sent me this stupid brown card and told me to fill it out and that should be it.. but i dont believe them.

i was sent this..

anyone know how to process this? do i really have to go chp to get it written off?

I would just ask chp to be on the safe side. Hell even local police should know the answer as well If you do go to court just bring your papers and you should be good

that is the temp i got one to when i moved to diff address, you're going to roll with that until your ID expires or go to the dmv and pay i think $35 or something to get a new one with the correct address

but if you had that card during the stop, doesn't make sense why he gave u a ticket now that is B.S, man Cali is desperatly in need of our $$$$... GL
