Well,

Looks like I will be moving out to California in may/june. My job will be in torrance but I am looking for places around the area.

Any good places to look at as far as apartments etc?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, what are the laws for cars out there? I currently am in Illinois (chicago).

 

I can list some of the easy ones.

- No Tint on the front windshield, driver side, or passenger side windows.
- No "Bazooka" Exhaust.
- Headlights must either be Blue or White, no other colors.

Those are the ones on the top of my head.

you have to have a front license plate
have to wear seat belts
signals have to be yellow or orange
red is ok for the rear

 

So basically stock TL w/ tint on the back windows and a license plate is fine. *in a nutshell*

CHP will ticket you for anything so expect it. Be polite to the Sheriff's and local PD's and you'll probably just get a warning.

No tint from the shoulders forward for the front seat occupants, no trash can exhaust, front plate, no stupid non standard headlight colors and wear your seat belt. An expect to get screwed at the gas station.
