There are much better window films than Llumar. How much are you looking to spend?

I think I would pay up around 300 USD for a top notch job assuming the shop does great work and stands behind their work. Any recommendations?

Do a search in this section at past threads. There are a number of recommendations for good tint shops.

But, if you want the best of the best, i.e., Hüper Optik, it's going to cost you > $400. The only place I know that carries this film is Xlnt Tint, in Anaheim.

Not in the OC, but California Tint in Rosemead does a very good job.

Just make sure you get there early.... before 9:30 am

In many instances with window film, you get what you pay for. Some cheap films bleed out. That's why you see some cars with "purple" windows.

Also, with our cars, metallic film shouldn't be used, because of our navigation systems, and possible use of XM. The signal will be interfered with.

Regarding Hüper Optik, just do some research on it, you'll come up with plenty of information.
