Fender rolling

heys guys i need help, i barely bought my wheels for my 1st gen tl but i guess i went a little to thick with the diameter of the wheel and the tire lol so no my back tires rub, hopefully you guys know of a good place that does fender rolling here in southern cali. thnks in advance

where do u live? i just had mine done by a guy in the valley he does a good job and is quick and affordable

i live about a hour from the valley but i travel down their almost every week, where exactly is he located and how much does he charge for rolling the fenders, thnks

hes in mission hills off of like devonshire and balboa area name is tony great guy he can either roll or shave the fenders depending on what is best. he charges around $80 if you want his # let me know i can PM it to you

does he put any clear coat after the cut/roll to protect the paint? is it necssary?

if he's doing it correctly with the rolling.. doing a paint over the are isn't needed as he'll be heating up the paint so that it won't crack.

now if he's cutting the metal.. then he'll have to paint to cover up the exposed metal.

not necessary.. you won't even be able to see the part he rolled / shaved cause it's inside the fender. e-mail him for more specific questions but this is from what i know.

One more question for you guy's do you guys think with rolling or with shaving fenders will get rid of my rubbing im rolling 18x8.5 with tire 245/40zr18 in my first gen tl stock hight all around

It may not be necessary , but as a preventative measure against rust it should be clear coated or painted. You're already compromising the structure of your fenders+panels by cutting/shaving. Why would you want rust on the inside of your panels too?

Alright i got an update i talk with murph's contact on monday and today went to get my fenders rolled and everything went good no more rubbing and he's a cool guy i would highly recomend him to anyone wanting to roll fenders on their cars

well he kinda did both but he didnt use the roller he used the hammer thn he cut wat coudnt be hammered i am very happy with his work

I went to Tony yesterday and he fixed my problem. Very nice, friendly and knowledgable guy that does an excellent job! Go to him if you need any fender work done.

hey tony i think i am guna need to revisit you and have you do some more work on my rears i got some different rims and they POKE might need more than just the shave you did i will hit you up
