best place to buy tires from

Where do you guys get your tires from? I have been getting mine at Costco beause of certain free services they offer.

1. They check your tires and inflate them with nitorgen.
2. rotations and balances.
3. Free flat repairs

Is there another place that has something similar to this?

Discount Tire

- free valve stems
- lifetime rotations
- lifetime computer spin balancing
- free tire repair (plug/patch)

Good time to buy is when they offer a $100 rebate on a set of 4 tires (offered at least 5 times a year). Can be combined with manufacturers rebates too. And they price match.

Costco isn't the deal they once were Michelin paid them to stop carrying a lot of the brands they used to have so you can definitely get a better deal on tires almost anywhere else. Most of the chain tire places will/can do what Costco does some will include it in the price and others will charge you for it but when you consider you can get a better deal on the tires overall you will still pay less than Costco even after you pay extra for the other services.

I get my tires from here

onlinetires.com

They ship to your door and so far have been the cheapest the only downfall is youll have to get them mounted ad balanced yourself. And from time to time they have some good specials

If you are in the SGV area, Tire Central in San Gabriel is awesome for a B&M shop. I think they only install/balance tires though.

props to him. Got 2 of my Hankook V12 Evos from that shop and have been very happy. $118 per tire installed if I remember correctly.

I left a 5 star review under Ryan Y.

I'll be picking up some General GMAX from them when the V12s wear out.

They had a $100 rebate last weekend, but they would not match the price (Tirerack). My search for tires in 818/805 continues.

I've never tried getting them to match TireRack, but when asked if they price match places like TireRack... they've told me it wouldn't be a problem but that they'd also add shipping to price too since TireRack charges you.

I have had luck getting them to match local places (i.e. no shipping) though... like Tire Central, online tires dot com, discount tires dot com, and discount tires 2 go dot com. All those places seem to have prices equal to but often times less than TireRack too.

Tire Central. Been going to Donald even before he starting doing installs. Hell, he's even let me just do my own mounting and balancing on his machines (which are awesome BTW, especially the no touch machine).

Yep. I'm still debating on which tires to go next on my truck. Thinking of some Falken Wildpeak A/T in 245/70-17...
