Just wondering if anyone here is in that area?

I have to go up there for a business thing soon and would appreciate any insight into the area, etc...

 

to my knowledge, there is nothing in bakersfield... couple of my friends live there for years and say its damn boring overthere..

besides being hot, there is nothing. closest beach is like 150 miles away..

+1 my friends hate going there lol, especially since one of em has to drop off his mom and pick her up there for work

 

We have a few car meets here mostly muscle cars and rice burners. all of us get along.

I fear I might be bored of my mind if I have to be there for long lol

The city has pretty much anything you want to do. When I go back home I just tend to go downtown and drink. HA!

 

Ppl just like to talk shit about bako because it's not L.A or Vegas. It's a chill town with plenty of things to do if you look for them it's not that bad.

 

I pretty much ruled the streets here from the mid '90s to mid 2000s when I quit racing so much. There's stuff to do but lots of trouble to get into at the clubs. Lots of fights. There are a few mellow places to go but I'll go to Vegas, Hollywood, or the coast for fun.
