I just wanted some opinions on the school. Pros/cons and such. Trying to decide on a school, campus tours wont be enough to help me.

Cal Poly Pomona is my other option. I am not too worried about the housing, I care about the learning environment most. I plan on going into the engineering as a primary and business as my secondary.

My roommate Jenny goes to Pomona, she seems to like it. Although I don't agree with some of their teaching methods, from a third party perspective.

I'm still trying to get into UCI. What do you mean "hands on"? Group projects? Both schools have group projects. Calpoly wants its students to be "well rounded" so you have to take a lot of stuff that you don't need for your major. It's one of the few schools that do that. Interesting how they require you to complete some work experience hours before you graduate too, so you know what you're getting into. Guess it really depends on what your major is too, if you're going engineering/architecture, cal poly ftw.... but if I get into UCI, I'm pretty sure i'm going.
