Mike.. did a little searching.. lol

so the zerk fitting isn't really necessary but thats if you don't mind taking it all apart for maintenance lubing

" Zerks are not absolutely neccesary. They will allow you to maintain lowest possible friction in the suspension action over time."

"The Energy Suspension bushings are two piece, fairly easy to remove for periodic lubing. For lowest friction and best suspension action, I recommend lubing once a year in most climates, or twice a year in you drive the car in really wet climates."

thats what i found..

Thats crazy cause I have never heard of that elsewhere. It makes sense though as Im sure they will eventually dry out then you either live with shitty bushings or buy a new set. Preventative maintenance I guess you could say.

I honestly think that the lube they provide, which is a teflon based lube, is good enough to keep the bushings from drying out. Its been a couple months since I installed mine and the lube that is sitting on the outside of the bushings, the excess I guess you could say, is still very much wet. So im sure the inside is even better.

Oh and last night I raced an 08 STI with a proclaimed dyno of 400+ HP.

How the hell did I hang with him in a race lat night??

After the race, I pulled up next to him and he was like:
"hey, uh, what kind of car is that?"
Me: "240sx"
Him: "Yeah, you did real good"

lol.... this ugly lil fuck is nothing to mess with lol.
