why is it so hard finding a good alignment shop in riverside? i only know of ONE good one but since my car is lowered now they said it wouldnt make it up their ramp. there are some other shops that can support my car but they just dont do such a good job.

recommendations please?

 

magnolia alignment charged me $80 and couldnt even do it right, also they scraped my side skirt while going up their alignment rack and my side skirt broke 1 tab and popped loose.

 

if possible please recommend a shop that can do it for under $70

i alrdy saw that thread but i think the lifetime deal is over, plus some people said they might not work on lowered cars.

 

i think if u want good alignment, you gotta go to another city. rich (mclovin, cpg tsx during the meet) recommended pepboys in rowland, which isnt too far from rside, so u might wanna check it out. (he posted a review in the club socal section i think)

40 bucks or 45 for toe only, slightly more if you adjust camber too. Slammed car friendly.

i just dont like how a lot of places leave it alone once its within the green spec. the green spec can go over -1 camber, and i want it to be 0. thats why i got a camber kit.

 

Yea, just tell him what you want if you already know, or "I do this kind of driving, what would you recommend for toe and camber settings?"

 

so i went to jerl's muffler and brakes in riverside. i was surprised because they dont use computer alignment, they go old school and use measuring tape. i was a bit skeptical at first i admit, but the guy who works there is the best alignment-er in riverside. everyone was perfect, steering wheel tracked straight and he put in the camber i want. goes to show, computers arent everything!

 

how much was it?

 

I guess their prices went up. Checking their site, basic toe is now $55. Camber is $25 and up.

So I'm looking at $80 minimum.

So..... Temple City Auto Repair or Impex Motorsports?

Unless there's a better/just as good place for a little less.

Temple City Auto Repair still for me. Adjust to your exact specs and Henry gives good input on how to set up the car. Cool dude and he definitely knows what he's talking about. The OG Drifters go there and quite a few track rats.

Cyrus mainly works on lowered cars and even built a custom ramp so that your car can make it up to the rack. He does good quality work and it's fast and efficient.

 

UPDATE
Went to Wheelhouse tire in San Gabriel today for an alignment. They charged me 50 bucks to get the job done.
