AFest 2010 So-Cal Venues Thread
So-Cal people, we are in need for suggestions. Although there are a few feasible locations we have already started to possible integrate into this years AcuraFest, I still want to find a few more locations to open the selection up a bit more.
A few factors:
Has to be So-Cal.
Has to be able to accommodate 200 cars. This can be underground parking lot, parking structure next door, or on premise.
No parks or parking lots.
Without giving away too much we are looking for a possible hotel/resort style location where we can host the event. We will also be talking to management to provide special rates as well. We realize we will have attendance from all over the place, and a place to crash and after party will most definitely be part of the consideration!
Should feel upscale - no motel 7's, super 8's, Good Nite Inn's.
Think of Hilton, The W, SLS, etc.
Please list anything that comes to your mind, I don't care and will research them all.
Just participate! Thanks!

I would suggest Vegas as well, but since it's so hot there, I was suggesting Harrah's Rincon. Nice mountain drives, nice scenic drive, 2 Jilberto's Mexican joints (great food there!) and one of them has a large open parking area.
And I was just out there this past weekend and it topped out at 84 degrees with a nice cool breeze.

I agree, there is a nice scenic drive up through the mountains (hwy 76 actually) pass Pala Casino and then another 11 miles until Rincon off of Hwy S6 or also known as Valley Center Rd.
