My 06 TL is approaching 105K miles and just had the A1/A4 service pop up on the MID. Stealerships are quoting $1100 for this service. Does anyone have any recommendations for mechanics in the San Diego area to perform the A4 service (timing belt, spark plugs, etc) and recent prices paid?

I have a trusted mechanic that I believe charges $700 labor + parts. You can prolly get it cheaper, but not better.
