I have had my 2008 TL Type-S for about three days now and I am looking to do a couple small mods to it. Could you explain to me what the LED board for the tail lights is? I know, newb question, I'm just not familiar with it. Thanks.

It's already on your car. It's the brake light, there LED which is why they are so bright. Click on the link below this for custom tail lights that I create though.

Ok, I understand now. You do good work, I'll look more later and see if I think any of those would look better on my car. It is the Moroccan Red Pearl, so if you have any pics of a Type-S that color that you have done the tails for I would like to see it.

I have not, but the ghost blacked out type s would look really good. Type your questions on that thread and others may chime in. I can also color match the bezel to your car color via OEM paint.

I'm thinking about upgrading my tail-lights on a 2005-TL base Anthracite. However I want to buy the lights, led board and everything required to get the mode done. Basically I want to be able to swap my factory tails back if and when I sell the car.

Any ideas what all I need to buy? Today I learned that its better to buy a new gasket around the tails to get a better seal..so its all good learning.

1) Tail Lights
2) Led-Board
3) Gasket
4) What else??

i have my oem tails off my 05, all red. if you need, you can have them for cheap. one has a small chip at the bottom and the other's in perfect condition. pm me.

So you wouldn't be interested in '04 TL tail lights (no LED boards) in excellent condition? Last year I had them replaced at the dealership with TL-S tail lights, as well as rear side markers.
