not sure.. they seemed to be the same with or without on my car.. you might want to ask others with the eyelids to make sure...

 

The glare from HIDs is caused by light hitting the bottom of the reflectors, not the top. You can make a cut-off with a Casper shield, but it's best to use a projector.
