I hate to rain on your parade (and yes I know that the veyron is way more expensive) but the viper venom is still slower than the veyron

In a straight line that thing would MURDER. On a race track, that thing would be all over the place and too fast for the turns

1,038 rwhp! Lingenfelter 427 CID Gen-2 Twin Turbo C6 ZO6 Corvette. I'll take this over the Viper... and yes the pic is just a C6, but Lingerfelters website has the Z06 chassi dyno and the Z06 is ready for upgrades.

Has anybody seen the video of the two guys in the AWD Eagle Talon turbo pulling up to race some guy in a C5 corvette? And the corvette absolutely destroys him? The Vette turned out to be a Lingenfelter Z06R.

Yeah, unfortunatle Hennesy is such a prick and bad business man, otherwise, I'd have more respect for his work. I'd rather have a Lingenfelter Z06

I would take the Vette over the Viper anyday cause at least I would know what I actually got

JH is an amazing tuner. I will give him that. BUT, I would never trust my car in his hands anyday-T Archer can have my business thank you very much.

the Veyron does 0-200 mph in 22 sec... this Viper does it in 19.9 sec.

What does that mean?

At 200 mph, you are going 293 feet per second. In 2.1 seconds you will travel 615 feet. Two football fields = 720 feet.

Yeah. The Viper is gonna be FAR AHEAD of the Veyron at 200 mph. Sorry.

Unfortunatley, when he actually does what he says he is going to do, he is VERY hard to beat. He can do some amazing things when he actually works.

bring them to the track and you will most likely get passed up by a car with lesser hp.

No way this is faster from 0-60 than the Veyron... come on now, AWD vs. RWD for launches? I have to say, it has the advantage on the top end cause it's probably lighter and has similar power/more torque. I doubt it hits 255 though... need some proof on that. Aerodynamics is a bitch.

Good point, I would give 0-60 to the Veyron. BUT the Viper will catch up and pass the Veyron QUICKLY... I have no doubt in my mind the Viper will do 0-200 mph in the claimed figure. Check the video I posted above of a supercharged Viper GTS doing 0-200 in roughly 22 seconds. It is noticeably traction-limited out of the hole.

I know it will do 200, I don't know whether it will actually do 255 mph.

Sorry for not knowing too much on Hennesey, but is he a bad tuner, bad businessmen, or both? I haven't paid much attention to him lately....

You obviously know nothing about the Viper and are arguing a subject of which you have no knowledge.

That is the problem, he is an amazing tuner . . . . . when he wants to be.

He is a HORRIBLE businessman-couldn't give two about the customer.

You're right, it probably couldn't pull those numbers at all without slicks-but so what?? Yeah, the Veyron is faster out of the whole-but it also isn't traction limited.

Furthermore, the Viper will catch the Veyron quickly and surpass it like Srika said earlier.
