Small form factor? ooh I really like the aesthetics of those, but the cooling on them seems a little constrained. That case you're considering... slap a little Xbox decal on the corner
I don't install unrelated stuff on my work computer so its used for just that. Macs are great for work and general browsing with gestures and all but gaming on them is really less than ideal.

exactly why I want to build a gaming PC. I've read about way too many eGPU headaches to want to consider getting one for my Mac Mini and bootcamp into windows for gaming.
if you want SFF with good airflow consider the cooler master NR200. Good reviews when it comes to airflow. but its a bit on the bigger end of SFF at 18L
Downsides are that you gotta lug this thing around with you, and cases gotta come off first. Barely uses up any battery, plus both the launcher and social aspect look well-implemented.
Yup. I think the 3060Ti is sweet spot for performance/$$.
Obliterates 1080p gaming, very very good at 1440.....respectable at 4k.....honestly at $400...it should serve like 80% of ppl's needs AND last long time too.
I've resigned myself to just wait until next year to get any of these....looks like my next upgrade may be the Ryzen 7 5800x + RTX 3060Ti ?
Just got a new case actually this week.....my super old case had a broken fan that was cooling my HDDs....and one overheated and I didn't know until a HDD went kaput...now I cool it with a room fan I have that blows into the case with the side panel completely off....very loud all the time....BUT massive CFM air flow....lol. Wife not happy but will be upgrading that....then next year looking at stepping it up finally for proper modern gaming hardware....
seems like the consensus on reviews is to go with the cheaper 3060ti or spend the extra $20 (if you can get it at MSRP) for the 3070
Especially if you do alot of productivity stuff.
But you should still buy it because it's a GPU.
FSR getting good first impression reviews. Not quite as good as DLSS 2.0 but works on all kinds of hardware. It will be interesting to see what studios end up supporting. FSR will be hard to ignore since PS5/XboxSX are going to support it.
