I think so too. If they did kill them.... i dont think they are stupid enough to show it.... multiple times.

 

I still wish they would let Abbie Eaton speak more than, "Right, lets do this". I think they could have her do the lap, then have her sit with them and discuss the car's handling / characteristics, but Jeremy would just be an.

 

^ I think they are trying to build her into some kind of character. Similar to Sting who never spoke. That is just my guess.

 

A segment with her critiquing the cars would be cool but I dont think they have the time slot for it

I think that is the intend. If you saw the 1st ep, he introduced the segment as Celebrity F........ace off.

 

Agreed. Such a HUGE improvement from last year.

 

Its pretty much TG at this point. They arent trying to be different like in the first season

 

I just wish they could get bigger names in that Celebrity faceoff segment. It does not feel "too funny" since i dont know most of them

I thought Goldberg & the boxer was better than most have been, they seemed to be having fun with it.

 

Actually, I kind of like it. Most people we have never heard of and that's OK. You get to know different "famous" people than you are used to. It sure as hell beats a celebrity getting "blown up".

 

This season is waay better than season 1. I'm loving the segments they are doing.

 

Nick Mason is a fairly big name. Another solid episode. It's basically classic Top Gear now.

I'm loving this season. Thoe whole segment on the DB4LW/XJSS/TYPE-R was fantastic.

 

That last episode... Man, driving a manual with no syncros? And the clutch hooked to the power steering pump in the XJ? You got one or the other with assist and not both. Damn.

 

that just goes to show you how good of a driver you had to be back then... we got it easy now... and wait till we get more and more tech into the cars...

 

Obviously i know who Hasselhoff is... I actually thought about adding the light strip when i got my first car. and of course Jack bauer.

But I was expecting being a new season and a new segment, they would try to bring Tom Cruise and Cameron Dias.

So today's female guest....surprisingly has it together. I thought she was completely in the gutter.

 

Pfft. She still seemed a bit air-headed to me. She does get points for being a bit of a car girl though.

 

Her outfit begged "my eyes are up here", but she didn't seem too much of a space cadet. Now, her Bentley? Yeah, too much.
