"Straight pipe" question

has anyone deleted the rears on their car and have a dynomax AND vibrant ultra quiet resonators? I wanna delete my rears but I don't want too much drone, the loudness of the exhaust doesn't really matter to me I just don't want too much drone or rasp. I've searched the forum but I didn't see anything like this being posted

I have a massive Magnaflow resonator and nothing else. Drone isn't bad at all but it's LOUD. Makes me smile.

Magnaflow 18146 I'm 95% sure. 31" total length, 2.5" in/out.

I did it

i removed my rears and all I have is a dynomax resonator stock cats and everything but straight pipe after the dynomax and it sounds GREAT. There's even a little gargle when you let off at certain rpm BUT the drone is pretty loud between 2-3 rpm being loudest at 2-25 rpm. I'm already used to it and doesn't bother me much but I do wish I can reduce drone withought getting rid of the sound it delivers outside

Long uphills at steady speed drones, but other than that it's not bad as far as drone. The exhaust under WOT is actually loudest around mid-range. Cold start is bad though, vibrates things in my bedroom above the garage.

I might throw another resonator or a single large muffler on so my neighbors don't hate me, but it's not as bad as the v6 mustang around the corner.

What state do you live in? In CA we can’t touch the cats bc the car won’t pass smog lol i just did rear deletes, mid delete, and replaced the resonator for a shorter one and it sounds mean ass hell. No rasp just drone between 2-3 rpms

I'm in PA. No smog/sniffer test, as long as my CEL is off and I pass the "visual" I'm good to go.

It helps to know your inspection guy to pass the visual part.
