2013 TSX grill swap
hi forum - I just bought a 2013 tsx aspec voretex blue. I really want to swap out the shield grill for something a little more subtle. I've seen the euro Accord grill which looks good. Bottom line I want to keep the Acura logo.
Does anyone one know where to get a replacement grill from ???
Here is my whip.
Thanks

Acura Fanboy
This is the cheapest that I could find in 10 minutes of searching. It has the Honda logo I presume, masked in the photos. You would have to modify it to change to an Acura A logo.

I swear it's always the same vinyl wrap or plastidip mod people do on our grills. We need more (better) grill options!
I plastidipped my grill black when I first bought it and immediately ripped it off.
Just looked like unpainted ABS plastic.

lol our cars have been out since 08 and there's still barely any mods for it on the market and most of the non oem parts look tacky. So unless you're doing something fully custom, it's just gonna be the same ol stuff
I have the Modulo bumper now with the fucktoe grill

you talking about those round things where the plate goes? Those are parking sensors so I don't mack up my stuff.
My front plate is on a retractable plate holder right under the splitter. You can see it right there in the middle.

I cut them myself. I just used a piece of paper over the lamp, traced the round part with a roll of duct tape. Then used the paper to transfer the cut out shape to the vinyl. Then BAM!

I removed the H then cover the cavity with an aluminium plate. The aluminium plate is cut to shape & painted to match the car. The emblem is from the 1st gen TSX, which needs to be heated and curved to matched the mounting surface.

I use the manual model. Easier to install and probably less headaches later on when and if the motor dies out.

I like the look of the 11-14 oem grille way better than the 09-10 one. Why do you guys put Honda badges instead of Acura? Isn't Acura supposed to represent more prestige as a luxury brand compared to Honda?

if you look at the Acura emblem, it’s just an “H” with the top pinched together.

I remember in the very early tuner days (95-97ish) seeing the "A" flipped upside down where possible, on a quite a few enthusiasts' cars. I assume the intent was to form an "H", but looked more like a "V".

haha I remember that too. When I first saw that, I didn’t understand it at first but then I was like, ooohhhhh riggghht!
