Lots of A-SPEC Interest, What about the Advance?

Bigger wheels and tires likely make up a significant portion of the difference for the A-Spec.
I agree that the A-Spec should have been a "side" variant of the Advance. As you can tell, though, the lack of surround cameras (the biggest portion of the Advance) was not a dealbreaker for me. Should I desire them, heated steering wheel and remote start are dealer-installed options and at that point, I'd be lacking only the surround cams and heated rear seats.
I also agree there's confusion in the configuration sheets. The press release indicates that the A-Spec comes with remote start when it does not.

That would be nice. That was a nice feature on my RLX, and they folded automatically when the car locked. I miss that.

I did my own steering wheel replacement in my 2G RL years ago. It wasn't that difficult. I can't imagine a dealer service person having a hard time with a heated steering wheel install. The service guide estimates install time as 0.6 hr (less than 40 minutes), so a dealer should be charging an hour's labor for install. I have not reached out to my own dealer to determine what they charge for install. The heated steering wheel itself has a MSRP of $500...but I've found it for $350 from my favorite online source. The instructions for install are in this very section of the website. I may tackle it....

That, I don't know for sure yet. The part number for the heated steering wheel for the A-Spec is different from the heated steering wheel for the regular TLX. I would assume that means the A-Spec heated steering wheel is indeed for the A-Spec and so, thicker.
08U97-TZ3-210A is regular TLX
08U97-TZ3-210B is A-Spec TLX

oooooooo.....I see a potential first mod. The only colors available shipped inside the U.S. are red and black. Silver/grey are only available shipped from China. I'd actually use these.

Looks like some people tried this for their paddles: https://acurazine.com/forums/fifth-g...nsions-942940/ Maybe that would work?
